For more than 30 years John has concentrated his practice in the areas of real estate, commercial and corporate law.
In addition to residential real estate purchases, sales and mortgages, John represents clients in all facets of commercial real estate, including land development, multi-residential and commercial purchases and sales, complex mortgage financing and commercial leasing.
John’s proven skills as a negotiator are frequently sought in business transactions and commercial contracts. He has also developed an expertise in corporate law, including corporate reorganization and restructuring.
For most of his career, John has been involved in charitable and political fundraising and has established a high level of rapport at the political and the public service level.

Harland has concentrated his practice in the areas of real estate and wills and estates.
Harland acts in residential and commercial real estate matters, representing and advising individuals and businesses through the process of buying, selling and financing. He also acts extensively for borrowers and lenders in commercial mortgage transactions.
Harland’s real estate practice also includes advising builders in all matters of land development and construction, including urban infill, subdivision and condominium development.
In addition to his extensive real estate practice, Harland practices in the areas of wills, estates and trusts, advising both individuals and businesses in estate matters and succession planning.

Sarah joined the firm in 2021. Her practice concentrates on corporate and commercial law
together with real estate, and wills and estates.
Sarah’s corporate and commercial work includes advising and representing clients on
acquisition and disposition of businesses, assets and shares, incorporations, restructuring
and reorganizations, and leasing.
In addition to engaging in corporate and commercial work, Sarah also provides assistance to her clients in purchases, sales, and financing of residential and commercial real estate as well as succession planning.
Sarah brings with her, extensive experience in having worked with a broad-range of individual
and business clients. She ensures that her clients’ interests are protected and works to achieve
the best possible outcome for her clients.
Sarah offers services in English, Sinhala, and Tamil.
